One of my best friends
(who shares my namesake)
and one of my favorite people in the whole wide world
(who happens to have been an american gladiator back in the day.)
uh huh. he's a man, myth and legend folks.
came for a short
but oh-so-sweet
visit last night.
They're on their way to bike 130+ miles in Tahoe.

but last night was reserved for moi.
and beers and lots of food.
tons of food in fact.
and a too long walk to dinner.
But, we made up for the walk with a gaggle of giggles.
It was such a refresher for the soul.
